Job Summary:
As Director of Sales for United Electronic Industries (UEI) you will spearhead all sales activities, driving significant business growth and market share expansion in critical verticals. You must be a visionary strategist with a deep understanding of global sales dynamics and a knack for crafting and executing powerful commercial strategies. In this pivotal role, you'll own the entire sales process, from identifying opportunities to sealing the deal. Please note, this position requires the candidate to be located within the continental United States.
Responsibilities:

Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans to achieve long-term business growth.

Train, mentor and set goals for the sales team to maximize performance.

Direct sales efforts including all results for sales personnel, service, and after-sales support.

Implement policies and procedures to optimize sales processes and outcomes.

Manage interface between the company and our existing, new, or potential customers.

Develop, schedule, and participate in training programs for customers or representatives as needed. Monitor content and update as required.

Initiate and approve special engineering requests mandated by customer requirements. Manage the review and prioritizing of open sales orders.

Leverage the CRM system to document sales processes and schedule follow-ups.

Provide insights to engineering and management on product requirements, new product needs, and additions to the product line for new opportunities and product roadmaps.

Lead sales account activities including actively selling UEI’s products and routinely visiting key accounts.

Lead quarterly sales meetings for territory planning and identification of needs to promote sales success and a sense of team with a unified vision.

Gather and analyze market data to inform sales strategies and product development.

Forecast sales monthly.

Routinely review and adjust business plans and identify top prospects.

Generate leads through industry networking, asking for referrals when appropriate.

Participate in trade shows and company seminars as required.
Minimum Requirements:
-
10+ years of progressive technical sales management experience.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience will be considered.

Experience with international sales and product development with a technical background.

Travel up to 50%
