Job Description: 


The incumbent is responsible for the launch, industrialization, and optimization of products and processes at the repair center in France. He or she deploys new hardware and software tools, ensuring their consistency and alignment with those used at other global sites, while maintaining the operational integrity of existing solutions.

 

Working at the intersection of R&D, operations, and service teams, they lead calibration, adjustment, and technical improvement activities, and support the repair team in resolving complex issues. They also contribute to maintaining and driving the site’s ISO quality system as the quality manager.

 

Working independently but supported by a team of experts, he proposes and implements solutions aimed at efficiency, value creation, and the performance of the service network.

 

Key Responsibilities:
Technical & Operations

  • Develop expertise in equipment calibration and repair.
  • Contribute to staff training during the rollout of tools and methods.
  • Ensure the operation, maintenance, and deployment of hardware and software tools.
  • Support the repair team and serve as the point of contact with Production and R&D.
  • Deploy new processes, patches, and updates.
  • Ensure the integration of new protocols and equipment.
  • Lead projects to optimize products, processes, and methods.
  • Analyze technical results, ensure equipment performance, and contribute to problem-solving.
  • Improve process efficiency and drive the function forward.
  • Work closely with internal teams (R&D, Quality, Production, Repair).
  • Support global service centers as needed.

Quality & ISO Compliance

  • Assume full responsibility for the quality system in France and ensure its compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 17025 standards.
  • Plan, conduct, and follow up on internal and external audits, and ensure the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain and improve quality processes, procedures, and tools in collaboration with the HQ quality team.
  • Manage metrics, non-conformities, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Train new employees and provide reminders on quality best practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all quality-related inquiries.

 

Ideal Profile:

  • Self-reliance and resourcefulness;
  • Bilingual (English and French), both spoken and written;
  • Over 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment;
  • Degree in engineering or equivalent experience;
  • Design skills are a plus;
  • Knowledge of robotics is a plus;
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, multi-site operational environment;
  • Zero tolerance for inefficiency;
  • Structured and organized;
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong team player;
  • Comfortable working in a chaotic environment;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;
  • An understanding of production engineering is a plus.

 

Compensation

Currency:  EUR
Salary Minimum:  30,000
Salary Maximum:  45,000
