Position Summary:
The project Engineer will be a member of the Product Engineering Team reporting to the Engineering Manager. The Project engineer is responsible for documenting, design, test and qualification of various new products with a focus on motor design. This entry level engineering position will generate, organize, and present product data to lead Project Engineers and Engineering Management. This Engineer will be tasked with supporting new motor design development, as well as maintaining existing product lines. This includes such activities as incorporating minor design updats to existing products maintaining profuct operability within specified limits. The Project engineer will contribute on numerious porjects, while learning key product design characteristics through design, verification support, and qualification testing. This knowledge will be utilized later in their careers as a Proejct Engineer or Design Engineer. Areas of design support include Motor Design while also supporting Environmental & Life, Shock & Vibration and Acoustics testing.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Properly and safely connecting products to various power sources.
- Operate specific equipment unique to Rotron's products.
- Operate electrical lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, stroboscopes, etc.
- Test products to customer specifications accurtely within multiple fields of science.
- Follow written instructions and procedures correctly. Provide detailed feedback to improve accuracy or usability.
- Utilize computers to generate curves, graphs, plots, and charts characterizing product performance.
- Interpret test results, concisely reporting your findings to the entire design team.

- Background in magnetics and electromagnetic conversion preferred.
- Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks) preferred.
Education and Experience:
- •Bachelor of Science degree in electrical or mechanical Engineering.
Exposure to a laboratory environment and electrical test.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work for prolonged periods on a computer or in a lab environment.
- Ability to move electrical equipment up to 25 pounds.
- Must be able to support limited travel to support customers and product testing as needed.
