Job Description: 

Job Summary: Perform duties to Impregnate, Buff, Hone, and Paint a variety of high-quality stator windings per drawings and applicable documentation.

 

What You Will Do In The Role:

  • Read and interpret assembly drawings and workstation instructions and routing process.
  • Adhere to all of AMETEK’s policies as called out in employee handbook.
  • Maintain high quality.
  • Meet department output needs (daily UPL requirements)
  • Good work ethic and time management skills.
  • Perform the following tasks: Impregnate, buff, hone, paint stator, and oven cure assemblies.
  • Complete routing process steps.
  • Report all discrepancies regarding processes or equipment to Department lead, Supervisor, or process engineer.
  • Maintain (cleanliness) Paint and impregnation tank.
  • Filling chemical supply cans as needed.
  • Load and unload parts on rolling racks.
  • Records viscosity of varnish.
  • Replace charts at impregnation oven.
  • Perform other related tasks as required. 
     

What You Will Bring To The Role:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to read and comprehend stator assembly drawings, and workstation instructions.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to use plugs/ gauges as called out in documentation.
  • Individual will be required to perform winding assembler level 1 duties daily.
     

Physical Requirements:

  • Good hand eye coordination.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • High energy level.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs on occasion.
  • Tolerant to fumes and odors.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $55,000
Incentive:  No
