Key Responsibilities

  • Increase sales by building trust, rapport, and confidence with targeted customers
  • Leverage knowledge of the 3rd party component MRO industry to achieve revenue goals in the Commercial Aftermarkets.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Sales, Customer Service, and Quality teams to develop and market value-added propositions.
  • Develop sales strategies to capture MRO business from key customers, leveraging AMETEK’s capabilities and global presence.
  • Manage proposals that meet top-line and bottom-line objectives.
  • Develop strategic plans and forecasts to meet targeted growth objectives through share gain or new product development initiatives.
  • Provide market feedback on new product development, market pricing, and general market trends.
  • Position AMETEK as a Tier 1 provider of nose-to-tail MRO and component manufacturing solutions through industry trade shows, conferences, and social media.
  • Manage relations with the Midwest Sales team, outside reps, consultants, and industry experts to optimize coverage and growth of strategic accounts.
  • Support financial reporting, including forecasting, budgets, and quarterly reporting requirements.
  • Other duties as required.  

We Need Your Experience to Include

  • Bachelor’s degree.  Engineering or Business are a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years’ of experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Proven track record of improving sales year on year.
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical sales with aircraft system applications.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Advanced written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience presenting to corporate executive teams.

Our Team

Our Company is located in Wichita, KS.  You will directly lead the Wichita customer service staff and collaborate with or guide the activities of all facility staff.  You will report to and gain direction from the Vice President, Sales and operate with considerable independence.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $130,000
Salary Maximum:  $145,000
