Job Description: 

The Quality Final Inspector inspects assemblies, subassemblies, components, and parts for conformance to specifications.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Inspects parts that are in process and completed to ensure they meet specifications by visual inspection and by testing the operation of the part. Performs functional and operational tests, using electronic test equipment to determine functionality of product or part.
  • Completes appropriate paperwork for the inspection process and logs data in inspection logbook.
  • Examines production documents to ensure that all assembly, inspecting, and testing steps were performed according to specifications.
  • Prepares parts for shipping by gathering paperwork and test data; ensures paperwork has proper signatures; copies paperwork for inspection files; and forwards part, paperwork and test data to shipping personnel.
  • Creates nameplates for parts as needed.

Job Requirements:

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years previous final inspection experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Exhibits dependability, including following instructions; responding to supervisor’s direction; and taking responsibility for own actions.
  • Ability to take initiative, including asking for and offering help when needed; performs work independently without being prompted
  • Ability to prioritize and plan work activities; use time efficiently; and work within deadlines.
  • Prior experience with repair station activities and FAA requirements is a benefit.

Salary Minimum:  40,000
Salary Maximum:  50,000
Incentive:  1289
