Job Description: 

The Quality Technician is responsible for receipt inspection, hydrostatic pressure testing,
electrical inspection, and mechanical inspection of products to ensure technical drawings and
specifications are met.


Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
• Read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
• Read and understand wiring schematics.
• Perform in-process inspection and final inspection of products to ensure
specification compliance.
• Perform receipt inspection to ensure vendor supplied material is in compliance with
purchase order requirements.
• Perform hydrostatic pressure testing of cable assemblies and connectors.
• Measure products with various gauges including calipers, micrometers, tape
measures and desktop electrical test equipment.
• Perform insulation resistance, dielectric withstanding voltage and continuity check
IAW wiring schematics.
• Generate and maintain test records.
• Accept conforming or reject non-conforming products and generate Nonconformance reports for products that fail to meet specifications.
• Report inspection and test data.


Requirements for Consideration:
• Minimum of a High School Diploma
• At least 3 years’ experience performing mechanical or other relevant inspection
processes.
• Ability to use Microsoft Word.
• Ability to program a CMM desired but not mandatory.
• Ability to problem solve and write clearly and logically.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings, specifications, as well as
department procedures.
• Ability to lift approximately 25 lbs.
• High attention to detail and accuracy of work.
• Have a positive attitude, ability to work in a collaborative environment and be
customer focused.
• Can work independently with little to no supervision.
• Due to ITAR regulations, candidates should be US citizens or permanent residents.

 

Compensation

Salary Minimum:  $60,000
Salary Maximum:  $80,000
Incentive:  No
