For our AMETEK Gatan team based in Unterschleißheim, near Munich we are looking for a dynamic and communicative Sales and Service Administration Specialist (m/f/d) with relevant experience in a similar role, possibly in manufacturing environments. Your focus will be on all administrative activities and processes related to order management, supply chain issues incl. logistics, shipping procedures and customs requirements, compliance, stock management, and daily internal and external communication in German and English.
The Sales and Service Administration will:
- Be the first point of contact for customer questions and enquiries about administrative issues
- Provide support with sales and service order management and maintaining records in Salesforce
- Have deep knowledge and application of internal compliance rules
- Coordinate customers, customs clearance and logistics and ensuring timely shipments
- Invoice, credit collection and reporting of overdue payments
- Support in planning of service appointments at customers’ sites
- Support in managing quality issues and RMA procedure
- Stock counting and warehouse management on a local level
- Report to management and racking of documentation for order management
Sales and Service Administration Requirements:
- Relevant commercial education or BA Bachelor with focus on business administration, supply chain/export and customs procedures
- German on a fluent level, and good English are required, while addditional languages are a plus
- Previous relevant experience with a global data CRM, preferably SalesForce.com is desirable
- Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably ‘Navision' and good knowledge of MS Office 365
- Knowledge of administrative recordkeeping and reporting
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills, creativity and strategic thinking to adapt to a challenging business environment.
