We are actively seeking a motivated and enthusiastic candidate to fill the role of Inside Sales Specialist for our office in Weiterstadt, Germany. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates or those who have completed an apprenticeship and are eager to start a career in sales. You’ll be part of a supportive team, learning the ropes of customer engagement, sales processes, and product knowledge while contributing to our growth.
This role is responsible for handling all aspects of commercial customer support including communications between customers, sales and service department and the production facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business unit-specific processing of customer orders.
- Tracking of ongoing orders, informing customers about delivery date changes.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and online platforms to understand their needs and recommend appropriate manufacturing solutions.
- Assist in preparing and following up on quotations, sales orders, and product inquiries.
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and engineering teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
- Maintain and update customer records in the CRM system.
- Support the field sales- & service team with lead generation, appointment setting, and customer follow-ups.
- Stay informed about product specifications, manufacturing processes, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
- Recent graduate (Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or related field) or completion of a relevant apprenticeship (e.g., industrial sales, technical support).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Interest in manufacturing processes and industrial products.
- Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service.
- Familiarity with Office-Software such as Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP as well as SalesForce CRM
- Organized, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Effective communication skills, both orally and written, in German and English.
