Position Summary
Scope of the role. Main objectives to fulfil in the company:
- Independent installation, maintenance and repair of our precision measuring instruments.
- Installation of additional equipment and subsequent upgrades.
- Provide urgently needed support in the customer in the complete DACH area, with a focus on the non-contact technology.
- Consulting and support of our customers on site.
- Introduction of our customers to our measurement technology as well as providing customer trainings.
- Close cooperation with the application and sales department to increase customer satisfaction.

Requirements for Consideration
Required Essential Skills:
- Completed training or a technician's degree (m/f/d) with an electromechanical background or equivalent.
- Electrotechnical and mechanical understanding.
- Profound PC knowledge / IT affinity.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Reliable, result oriented and independent way of working in home office and field service.
- Flexibility and high willingness to travel.
- Valid class B driver's license.
Desirable Skills:
- Competent appearance and joy in dealing with people.
- Friendly and competent appearance with hands-on mentality and high service orientation.
Required Personal Attributes:
- Willing to work alone in the field however, we need a good team-player, who is interested in good communication with the other FSE´s and the Weiterstadt team, to share necessary information.
Experience/Qualifications
Experience/Degree/Certification:
- Experience as a service technician (m/f/d) in the field
- We prefer an electrically qualified person(Elektrofachkraft), however a qualified mechatronics technician or engineer is an option.
