Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include product line forecasting, Market and application research, Voice of the customer activities supporting current and future product ideation.
  • Work with key partners to help drive strategic solutions supporting voice of the customer and sales channel opportunities. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with mixed channel, integration partners and customers to support product and business objectives.
  • Product championing thru channel, industry and customer interactions.
  • Define and communicate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Drive priorities on key features that align with VoC, technical roadmaps and dollarization objectives.
  • Define and represent product strategy in conjunction with technology and product roadmap activities representing and supporting business objectives.
  • Analyze market opportunities, applications, customer need/pain points, and competitive landscape to help define and drive product and long term roadmap.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the success of products.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer support to ensure product adoption and success.
  • Support the sales team by providing product knowledge and helping with customer presentations.


Required knowledge and skills:

  • Must have excellent communication skills and able to represent the Vision Research brands in a professional and supportive manner.
  • 3+ years of experience in working in a business technical environment
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications with emphasis on PowerPoint and Excel(pivot tables and charts)
  • Must be able to effectively present and communicate information internal and external stakeholders while supporting strategic initiatives and business objectives.
  • Must possess strong organizational skills and be self-managed with a proactive nature.
  • Able to multi-task and handle the responsibilities in an environment with changing priorities.
  • Enthusiastic about Market and application opportunities and solutioning thru productization in a mixed channel and solution partner environment.

 

Education

  • MBA with a technical undergraduate degree.
