  • Partner with Corporate Salesforce and IT teams on system improvements, issue resolution, and best-practice deployment.

Sales Reporting and Analytics

  • Develop, maintain, and improve sales reporting using Salesforce, Power BI, IDM, SAP, and other available tools.
  • Provide regular reporting on bookings, sales, backlog, pipeline, forecast, customer performance, quote activity, and sales KPIs.
  • Analyze sales trends by customer, region, salesperson, product family, and channel.
  • Identify data gaps, reporting inconsistencies, and opportunities to improve commercial visibility.
  • Prepare recurring sales dashboards and leadership reporting packages.

SIOP Commercial Inputs

  • Lead preparation of the commercial inputs for the SIOP process.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Operations, Finance, and Customer Service to support demand review preparation.
  • Analyze bookings trends, backlog, pipeline, forecast changes, and customer demand signals.
  • Help identify risks and opportunities in the sales forecast.
  • Track follow-up actions from SIOP meetings and ensure commercial inputs are updated on a regular cadence.

Quarterly Business Reviews and Operating Cadence

  • Lead preparation of quarterly business review materials for the commercial organization.
  • Support monthly and quarterly sales reviews with data, dashboards, analysis, and follow-up tracking.
  • Maintain a consistent cadence for pipeline reviews, forecast reviews, and sales performance reporting.
  • Ensure sales leadership has clear visibility to performance versus targets, risks, opportunities, and required actions.

SAP Cloud Commerce Support

  • Support the rollout and adoption of SAP Cloud Commerce for selected customers and distributors.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, IT, Corporate eCommerce teams, and distributors to support onboarding and issue resolution.
  • Assist with user testing, process documentation, training, and adoption tracking.
  • Monitor portal usage, order activity, customer/distributor feedback, and open issues.
  • Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and improve the customer ordering experience.

Pricing and Margin Analysis

  • Support pricing analysis across customers, products, regions, and sales channels.
  • Analyze price realization, discounting, margin performance, and customer-level pricing trends.
  • Provide data and analysis to support annual price actions, targeted repricing, surcharge roll-ins, and margin improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with Sales and Finance to identify low-margin or inconsistent pricing situations.
  • Maintain pricing reports and support leadership review of pricing opportunities.

Commercial Data Governance

  • Help maintain accurate account, customer, territory, product family, and sales assignment data across commercial systems.
  • Support cleanup of duplicate, outdated, or incomplete records.
  • Ensure key commercial fields are maintained consistently to enable reliable reporting.
  • Partner with Sales, Customer Service, Finance, and IT to resolve data quality issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Marketing, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, commercial operations, business analytics, pricing analysis, sales enablement, or a related role.
  • Strong Salesforce experience required; experience as a Salesforce power user, administrator, trainer, or reporting owner preferred.
  • Experience with Power BI, IDM, SAP, or other reporting / ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to organize data, identify trends, and communicate insights clearly.
  • Experience supporting sales forecasting, pipeline reporting, SIOP, business reviews, or pricing analysis preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills required.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, IT, and business leadership.
  • Strong communication and training skills.
  • High attention to detail and strong process discipline.
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial business environment.

Key Success Factors

  • Strong Salesforce adoption and improved data quality across the sales team.
  • Reliable and timely sales reporting for leadership.
  • Clear commercial inputs into the SIOP process.
  • Improved visibility to pipeline, forecast, backlog, pricing, and sales performance.
  • Successful support of SAP Cloud Commerce rollout and adoption.
  • Better pricing analytics and margin visibility.
  • More disciplined commercial operating cadence.

Ideal Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a hands-on sales operations professional who is comfortable working in the details of systems, data, reporting, and process. This person should be able to train sales users, build useful dashboards, challenge poor data quality, prepare leadership-ready reporting, and help the commercial team operate with greater discipline.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys making sales organizations more efficient, measurable, and accountable through better systems, analytics, and process execution.
