We are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Analyst responsible for measuring the inventory levels of the production facility, and design, develop, and execute continuous improvement initiatives to improve overall supply chain processes and strategy.  Responsible for building business reports as well as being able to project monthly sales of products to ensure accurate inventory levels.  Focus is on reducing cost and time to deliver products to customers and use knowledge to resolve problems and avoid costly delays.

What you will do:

  • Collect and analyze a variety of data related to supply chain operations; coordinate flow of information, manage expectations, and streamline communication to internal and external customers
  • Analyze data to identify areas to improve efficiency
  • Develop and execute projects to enhance operations
  • Measure supply chain performance, KPIs, and other relevant data and report to leadership
  • Work with various departments to enhance service delivery
  • Review supplier processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
  • Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
  • Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability and implement changes in collaboration with other departments.
  • Conduct supplier audits in compliance with various objectives
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed to maintain accepted supplier quality score
  • Other duties as assigned

We are looking for: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related technical field
  • 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Strong software skills (Microsoft Office, SQL, etc.)
  • Demonstrated project management and analytical skills required
  • Must be familiar with ISO standard and is competent to perform supplier/process audits
  • Must be knowledgeable of various quality tools and systems and is capable of proposing guidance to resolve quality problems
  • Must understand technical drawings and be capable of interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings within industry standard
  • Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations required
  • Deep understanding and hands-on experience in manufacturing process control and quality systems required.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills required

Additional Characteristics:

  • This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment
  • This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally required

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $70,000
Salary Maximum:  $95,000
