We are looking for a Junior Supply Chain Analyst
What you will do:
- Collect and analyze a variety of data related to supply chain operations; coordinate flow of information, manage expectations, and streamline communication to internal and external customers
- Analyze data to identify areas to improve efficiency
- Develop and execute projects to enhance operations
- Measure supply chain performance, KPIs, and other relevant data and report to leadership
- Work with various departments to enhance service delivery
- Review supplier processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Build and maintain good relationships with vendors
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams
- Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies for reduced cost or improved quality and reliability and implement changes in collaboration with other departments.
- Conduct supplier audits in compliance with various objectives
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed to maintain accepted supplier quality score
- Other duties as assigned
We are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, or related technical field
- 3-5 years’ relevant experience working in a manufacturing environment; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong software skills (Microsoft Office, SQL, etc.)
- Demonstrated project management and analytical skills required
- Must be familiar with ISO standard and is competent to perform supplier/process audits
- Must be knowledgeable of various quality tools and systems and is capable of proposing guidance to resolve quality problems
- Must understand technical drawings and be capable of interpreting mechanical and electrical drawings within industry standard
- Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations required
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience in manufacturing process control and quality systems required.
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and organizational skills required
Additional Characteristics:
- This position works as both an individual contributor and in a team environment
- This position may require standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, up to 8 hours per day
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally required
