Job Description:
We are hiring an FP&A to support a growing business. This role is responsible for providing financial insights and projections to the Business Unit (BU) financial team. The FP&A provides reliable data and analysis to be used in decision making and planning.
What you will do:
- Provide FP&A support for the BU related to consolidations, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and metrics in a timely and efficient manner.
- Identify and understand business challenges; propose and create solutions.
- Collaborate on metrics, goals, and business reviews.
- Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights.
- Work on projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization.
- Create presentations that provide insightful analysis, identify required action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.
- Identify and research variances to forecast, budget, and prior-year expenses, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with business partners, cross functional teams, and global colleagues at all levels of the organization. Collect, analyze, and report out on operational costs.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and report outs including supporting other financial colleagues with completing regulatory duties.
- Complete cost-volume-profit analysis.
- Verify the accuracy of published financial statements.
- Maintain a knowledge of what is going on in the plants and how activities relate to both capital and financial budgets in terms of goals and standard cost impacts.
- Assist the external auditors through preparation and report out of requested schedules.
- Develop and implement continuous process improvement.
We are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years’ related experience within a manufacturing environment
- General knowledge of accounting principles and best practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Advanced Excel skills highly preferred
- Demonstrated organizational, prioritization, and analytical skills
- Ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Drive for results and superior attention to detail
- High level of ethics and respect for confidentiality
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally <10%
