Job Description: 

The Fabrication Stager is responsible for preparing materials, staging jobs, supporting CNC, Threadrolling and Haas machining operations, and assisting with general material movement throughout the facility. This role ensures smooth production flow by coordinating materials, performing basic machining prep, and maintaining accurate documentation.

What you will do:

  • Pick and stage materials
  • Review and prioritize line loading based on schedule
  • Perform material inspection using the proper measurement equipment
  • Complete all initial job paperwork and record material consumption.
  • Put away overstock in designated storage locations.
  • Cycle counting of inventory
  • Perform machining operations using bandsaws, chop saws and belt sanders
  • Transport materials from supplier to inventory or in and out of the building

We are looking for: 

  • Experience in a manufacturing or machining environment preferred.
  • ERP experience preferred
  • Math abilities required
  • Computer literacy required
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
  • Need to be able to lift 50 lbs
  • Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Ability to read basic manufacturing documentation and handle material measurement tools (e.g., micrometers).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in material handling and recordkeeping.
  • Ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities.
