Director, FP&A and Compliance – candidate will report to the DVP BU Controller and is responsible for helping us transform the way we measure business performance, manage resources, and lead financial activities using business intelligence, modeling, and analytics. You will have a unique opportunity to use your insights and strategic thinking to partner with leaders on financial analysis, financial decisions and investments, and process transformation projects.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis

  • Own the FP&A function and processes across the Business Unit

  • Lead and develop financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and alignment with strategic objectives

  • Manage financial reporting deliverables, liaising with the Accounting team and cross-functional business partners to enable transparency into the business’ performance and drivers

  • Serve as trusted partner to the business while challenging the status quo, providing actionable insights to drive profitability, cost optimization, and revenue growth across the organization

Compliance

  • Strengthen internal controls to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and modeling; assess and mitigate compliance risks

  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting regulations, including SOX requirements, and laws

  • Support internal and external audits

Strategic Planning

  • Support the BU leadership team in the development of our 5-year strategic plans, proactively highlighting risk and opportunities related to business growth

  • Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling to evaluate strategic options

  • Recommend optimal investment decisions through data-driven insights and business modeling expertise

 

Continuous Improvement

  • Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation, including the implementation of approved technology solutions

  • Drive standardization of processes and reporting

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement

Team Leadership and Development

  • Supervise and mentor finance team members, providing guidance and support

  • Manage performance, conduct reviews, and promote a positive team environment

  • Business partnering and collaboration, ability to build cross-functional relationships

Special Projects:

  • Lead Power BI development and implementation

  • Drive financial reporting and analytics transformation

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics; MBA a plus

  • 8+ years of related Accounting and Finance experience, with track record of progression

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders

  • Financial Planning & Analysis: thorough understanding of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections and modeling

  • Strategic Planning: ability to support and develop long-term financial outlooks that align with organizational goals

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to changes

  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, consolidation tools such as Hyperion Financial Management (HFM); experience with SAP a plus

  • Strong Financial acumen, including knowledge of US GAAP, SOX controls

  • Operations/Manufacturing experience a plus

  • Team building and development, able to inspire, educate and influence others

  • Ability to travel as needed

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $160,000
Salary Maximum:  $190,000
Incentive:  Yes
