Job Description:
The Southest Sales Representative is responsible for building customer relationships from prospecting, closing, to post sales support for generating new business as well as expanding on existing business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage sales opportunities within assigned territory to achieve revenue targets and growth objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong customer relationships, from initial prospecting through post-sales support, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver quotations and proposals for products and services, including special
- Act as the primary interface between customers and technical teams, ensuring accurate communication of requirements and solutions.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, tracking opportunities and progress using CRM
- Leverage digital platforms and networking (e.g., LinkedIn, trade shows, seminars) to identify and engage prospects.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and campaigns.
- Delivers technical product presentations to key clients.
Requirements for Consideration:
- Bachelor’s degree required, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 3–5 years of related experience, preferably in technology, capital equipment, or instrument sales.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven time management and follow-up skills with a track record of closing deals.
- Customer-focused with excellent relationship-building abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent—high energy, results-oriented, and able to establish rapport.
- Leadership style that is goal-oriented, motivational, ethical, and engaging.
