Job Summary

The Senior Business Systems Analyst is a remote IT position that provides in-depth application, technical data and best practice process support to our multi-site ERP user community.  User support ranges from managing ERP user access requests to partnering with SMEs across the business to solve unique business requirements using Industry Best Practice methodology.  This role will occasionally participate in onsite ERP implementations and provide post go-live support.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Subject Matter Expert in ERP and related business applications
  • Utilize solid analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into the application and operational requirements
  • Partner with key stakeholders to develop and test solutions to complex business problems
  • Provide remote ERP helpdesk support to 1,000+ users across our US and International facilities
  • Partner with site leadership teams to simplify and improve operational business processes using industry-proven best practices
  • Provide leadership and training support while serving as a change agent for ERP implementations
  • Execute queries and scripts using TSQL and other related commands to pull data, update data, or inform on data related items
  • Develop user reference /training documentation prior to launch of new processes / solutions
  • Provide thorough and consistent work activity documentation in accordance with our Sarbanes Oxley compliance requirements      

 

Education

4 year degree in Business Admin, IT/Computer Science - related concentration preferred

 

Experience

5+ years serving as an ERP Subject Matter Expert (SME) supporting front-office and manufacturing disciplines

5+ years supporting Infor Visual ERP platform strongly preferred

3-5 yeras implementing ERP platforms and best practices in the manufacturing sector

3-5 years Manufacturing / Supply Chain ERP experience desired

1-2 years report development experience a plus

  • Self-discipline, internet connectivity and home environment to work remote (90% estimated)
  • Candidate is expected to align tasks priorities in accordance with overall business priorities
  • Strong organization, problem solving, interpersonal skills and business acumen
  • Self-motivated and able to develop rapport and positive working relationships with coworkers
  • Ability to travel to sites as required (10% estimated)
