The Senior Director, Global Sales is responsible for driving profitable growth, expanding customer relationships, increasing adoption of new products, and developing a high-performing global sales team. The Senior Director will partner closely with product management, engineering, operations, and service teams to execute growth initiatives and deliver exceptional customer outcomes.

 

Success will be measured through revenue growth, market expansion, commercial execution, and team development.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and execute the global sales strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing global sales organization.
  • Drive revenue growth through market expansion, new customer acquisition, and increased share within existing accounts.
  • Accelerate adoption and commercialization of new products and solutions.
  • Build strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Improve forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, and commercial operating discipline.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support product launches, strategic initiatives, and customer-focused solutions.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and growth vectors.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Significant experience leading global or multiregional sales organizations in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or technology-driven markets.
  • Demonstrated success driving and delivering commercial growth and expanding market share.
  • Experience building, developing, and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and eligibility to access export‑controlled information, as required by applicable regulations.

Additional Details: 

Location: 

This position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in the United States. While the role is not location‑dependent, Rochester, New York may serve as an optional home‑base location for candidates who prefer proximity to the Power Instruments headquarters. Regular domestic and international travel is expected to support customers, sales teams, and business priorities.
