Job Description: 

The SAP FICO Lead will manage a small team of analysts (internal/third party) to oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of functionality within the SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex SAP projects, driving process improvements, and providing strategic guidance to enhance financial performance. This leader will play a pivotal role in many transformational projects over the upcoming years, including preparation and migration to S/4HANA.  In this role you will report into the SAP Program Director and manage a team of FICO analysts.    

 

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

  • Accountable for the design and governance of the SAP S/4 FICO and RTR business processes. 
  • Deploy and maintain the global business RTR processes. 
  • Gather and analyze process gaps between the business needs and the standard global templates. 
  • Partners with the RTR/FICO business process leads and business SMEs 
  • Lead a team of RTR analysts.  
  • Provide leadership to a global functional team/integration partner specializing in SAP configuration, implementation, and support. 
  • Manage and prioritize the RTR enhancement backlog 
  • Lead the development of business cases to articulate how the value of the improvements and opportunities aligns with business vision, strategy, and desired outcomes. 
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize financial processes and enhance system performance. 
  • Work across other functions including Order-to-Cash, Plan-To-Manufacture, Tax, and Procure-to-Pay to ensure alignment within S/4. 

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of experience 
  • Minimum of 10 years as a RTR functional analyst/lead in SAP ECC OR S/4HANA 
  • Minimum of 2 full S/4HANA implementations 
  • Must have experience with a large global company of $1 billion in revenue or more 
  • Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA functionality, especially in Finance, Reporting, and Controlling (FI/CO/GL/AR/AP), including GL Reporting, P&L Reporting, Profit Center Accounting, Cost Center Accounting, A/R, A/P, Fixed Assets. 
  • Experience implementing Financial Shared Services 
  • Experience with HFM and/or other consolidation tools 
  • SAP certification is a plus 
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to self-motivate and successfully work on multiple projects. 
  • Experience in government regulated industries 
  • Experience managing a team  
  • Strong leadership skills and proven ability to adapt leadership style to different situations and people as well as to a complex business structure. 
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $140,000
Salary Maximum:  $180,000
