Your Impact:
The Regional Manager (RM) is responsible for driving sales growth and market penetration for each Rauland distributor in their assigned territory for both the health care and educational markets.  Through their activities (presentation support, distributor owner influence, sales personnel management and training, etc.) we improve our distributor’s competence –the ability to outsell our competitors—and coverage –the number of sales hours a distributor focuses on our product.

 

What You'll Do:

  • Distributor Management - consult on market strategy, best practices, scorecards and growth strategies.  Ensure channel partners are aligned with Rauland direction and strategy.
  • Sales Competency - sales training, coaching and call support as it relates to both the product and selling skills. Presentation training and coaching.  Provide Rauland Product training to new reps, making calls to hospitals routinely with sales reps and coaching them on techniques and skills.
  • Sales Management - Territory Strategy, Opportunity Management, Salesforce and Sales Funnel Management.  Work with Sales Managers and Sales Reps at least once per quarter to evaluate their Sales Pipeline and monitor call activity to every account. 
  • Presentation Support - Presentation on key opportunities and manage Solution Center visits.  Work with the Sales Reps on presentations and presentation skills, practicing as necessary and assist in planning and setup. 
  • Market Presence – Attend National and Regional Trade Shows, Rauland Sponsored Events, speaking engagements and specialty shows and events. 
  • Hospital Industry - Understanding of Clinical workflow, competitors and competitive information, knowledge of industry trends and changes. Partnering with vendors to build relationships and work with hospital managers to understand their needs and clinical workflow.
  • Educational Industry – Understanding of school public address and communications systems, and emergency critical communications systems.  Knowledge of public, private, and higher ED industry and trends.  Partnering with vendors to build relationships and work with school administrators to understand current and future communications needs.
  • Sales Leadership – Exhibit strong sales leadership traits, that set the example for distributor sales team members and use sales leadership skills to ensure that Rauland distributor partners sales teams are executing effective sales strategy and tactics while influencing distributor leadership.

 

Do You Have?...

  • Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or equivalent
  • Minimum of five years related sales or sales management experience in healthcare or education IT, or software sales
  • Skills: presentation proficiency, coaching and management, leadership and strategy, sales, and good people skills
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills, able to speak comfortably to groups of 10-100 people
  • An inclination for new technology and how to sell value-based software
  • Able to articulate and coach partner reps on how to create long term value with company systems and associated technology to distributors, sales reps, and customers
  • Ability to travel 60%-70%
