Are you ready to take charge, inspire teams, and drive growth?  We're seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to lead our efforts across the Mid-Atlantic, New England, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia regions.  In this pivotal role, you'll shape the future of our business by managing key territories, guiding a talented team, and crafting innovative strategies to expand our market presence.

 

As the RSM, you'll bring a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, blending account management expertise with a tenacious drive to uncover new opportunities.  You'll play a vital role in cultivating relationships, growing accounts, and creating actionable plans to exceed ambitions growth goals - all while empowering your team to thrive.

What you will do:

 

Manage the sales process for the accounts located in the geographical territory as defined by the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Direct Territory Sales Responsibilities
    • ​​​​​​​Manage the sales processes for accounts within the defined territory.
    • Develop and execute territory-specific sales plans to meet business objectives.
    • Achieve sales and other targets for the assigned territory.
    • Analyze territory-specific market trends and customer needs to stay competitive.
    • Adjust sales strategies based on territory-specific challenges and opportunities.
  • Leadership & Team Success
    • Lead, inspire, and guide a high-performing sales team to achieve business objectives.
    • Foster an environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and growth.
    • Execute supervisory responsibilities, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Customer & Partner Engagement
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and distribution partners.
    • Deliver exceptional customer experiences while managing expectations and crafting tailored solutions.
  • Strategic Business Development
    • Identify, qualify, and secure new OEM sales opportunities to expand market presence.
    • Develop and implement winning strategies, following through to close deals and secure purchase orders.
    • Cultivate new business relationships within key market segments, creating opportunities for long-term growth.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Conduct regular business reviews and deliver accurate, insightful sales forecasts.
    • Maintain precise records in CRM software, ensuring clarity and transparency.
    • Partner seamlessly with internal teams to provide outstanding service and drive operational success.
  • Market Insights & Strategic Impact
    • ​​​​​​​Gather and analyze market intelligence to shape future strategies and product development.
    • Keep leadership informed on progress, market trends, and key account developments.
  • Purposeful Execution & Results
    • ​​​​​​​Proactively engage customers through various methods including in-person meetings to provide optimized solutions.
    • Drive follow-ups on quotes, opportunities, and projects to ensure continuous momentum.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.S. or B.A.) in a technical or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience, with demonstrated leadership skills strongly preferred.
  • A proven ability to collaborate, communicate effectively, and prioritize in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and CRM systems.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset with a focus on achieving measurable results.
  • A strong technical understanding and experience working with OEMs.
  • A strong customer focus, exceptional organizational skills, and a knack for solving complex challenges.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally
  • Knowledge of brush and brushless DC motors, gearmotors, electronic drives, linear actuators, and related components is a plus.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $110,000
Salary Maximum:  $150,000
Incentive:  Yes
