Job Title: Regional Sales Director - Southwest

We are seeking a Regional Sales Director who is a proven sales leader with a relentless drive for success to join our SkyBitz Sales team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and be able to promote our mission, vision, and guiding principles, as well as collaborate with their teammates to generate extraordinary growth. This individual will be a fierce advocate for our clients and our brand. In addition, the person will provide customized solutions to clients and ensure a positive customer experience during the sales cycle to drive repeat business and continued customer loyalty.
The Regional Sales Director will report to the Director of Sales and be responsible for the development and growth of a client base through strategic outside sales activity. This includes prospecting for new accounts in a defined territory, developing consultative relationships with clients, and managing ongoing account and territory activity. New logo growth (hunting) will be the primary focus of this role, along with required account management. This role will also focus on small and mid-market sales. To be successful in this role, you will:
- Meet and exceed all revenue goals and sales targets
- Identify new logos (hunting)
- Contribute with development of leads and prospects and securing new business by participating in conference calls, webinars and in-person visits
- Effectively present and demonstrate our full suite of products and services to new prospects and existing clients
- Build relationships with regional and enterprise customers through professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
- Negotiate cogent contracts with customers involving SkyBitz management team as required
- Provide accurate sales forecast to management
Requirements:
- 5+ years consultative sales experience preferably in the Transportation Industry
- Solution sales experience---Cloud based Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) business model and someone experienced with selling solutions to customers challenges without a focus on hardware. Hardware is a part of most sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience selling solutions to mid-market corporations and preferably to companies in the IoT/M2M industry
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Proficient with MS Office, SalesForce, Zoom Info and SalesLoft
- Must be willing to travel
- Strong communication and demonstration skills (customer facing)
- Understand sales process, strategies, and solution selling
- Technical sales proficiency---able to articulate complex solutions to the customer
- Demonstrate ability to develop, build and maintain strong relationships with sales team, partners, vendors, and customers
- Experience conducting sales presentations and webinars to perspective customers
- Must be a competitive, self-motivated sales professional with excellent interpersonal skills
