As a National Accounts Sales Manager at Reichert Inc., you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our footprint across National Accounts in the optometry and eyecare market. This fully remote position reports to the Director of Sales, Americas, and offers the opportunity to shape and execute strategic plans, foster key partnerships, and leverage your industry expertise to drive revenue growth.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets, expand market share, and strengthen the company’s position in the optometry and eyecare market.
  • Manage and grow relationships with current National Accounts, including large optometry practices, retail chains, and industry partners.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within existing accounts
  • Manage pricing and discounting to balance growth and achieve profitable growth.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Product Management teams to align strategies and enhance value propositions.
  • Build and maintain a robust professional network within the eyecare industry to identify growth opportunities and stay ahead of market trends.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales initiatives.
  • Monitor account key performance indicator metrics, sales forecasts, and market share growth.

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR CONSIDERATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing or related field, MBA preferred
  • 9 - 10 years of proven experience in sales management, preferably within the optometry, eyecare, or medical device industries.
  • Strong knowledge of the optometry market, including key players and industry trends.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge and experience implementing best sales practices and tools
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated success in managing national accounts and achieving revenue growth.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
  • Ability to travel nationally as required.

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $140,000
Salary Maximum:  $150,000
