The VP of Global Sales is responsible for developing and executing the global sales strategy for both the Power and Sensor & Switch businesses.  You will lead our commercial sales teams, build strong relationships with customers and partners, and ensure strong alignment across product management, engineering, operations, and service.

Success in this role will be measured by revenue growth, new product adoption, customer expansion, and the development of a high-performing, inclusive global sales organization.

  Key Responsibilities: 

  • Lead and inspire the global sales organization, setting clear direction while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and execute the worldwide sales strategy aligned with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Build trusted relationships with key customers and senior leaders.
  • Identify new market opportunities and expand share within existing customer segments.
  • Drive adoption and sales of new products, ensuring successful market introduction and sustained growth.
  • Aggressively pursue and secure new customers to drive revenue growth and strengthen market position.
  • Partner cross-functionally to support product launches, innovation, and customer focused solutions.
  • Drive forecasting accuracy, disciplined pipeline management, and commercial excellence.
  • Recruit, coach, and develop talent across the global sales team,

Minimum Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Significant experience leading global or multiregional sales or commercial teams in industrial, manufacturing, or technology-driven markets.
  • Demonstrated success driving growth across complex portfolios.
  • Experience developing talent, leading through influence, and building strong team cultures.
  • Executive presence and the ability to communicate clearly with customers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
  • Strong commercial judgment and the ability to navigate dynamic environments.
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States and eligibility to access export‑controlled information, as required by applicable regulations.

Additional Details: 

Location: 

This position is remote, with a preference for candidates based in the United States. While the role is not location‑dependent, Rochester, New York may serve as an optional home‑base location for candidates who prefer proximity to the Power Instruments headquarters. Regular domestic and international travel is expected to support customers, sales teams, and business priorities.
