Job Summary:

 

The Director of Sales is a strategic leader responsible for driving revenue growth across the region by leading high-performing sales teams and distributor networks.  This role focuses on developing and executing data-driven sales strategies, expanding market presence, and fostering long-term customer relationships.  The Director will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment with business goals and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Leadership & Planning

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and create actional plans for profitable growth.
  • Lead sales forecasting, budgeting, and performance goal setting.

Sales Execution & Support

  • Guide regional sales teams in account strategy, territory planning, and customer engagement.
  • Serve as the pricing and quoting authority for OEMs and distributors within company guidelines.
  • Support contract negotiations, proposal development, and closing complex sales cycles.

Customer & Market Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers across customer organizations.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
  • Monitor competitive activity and share insights with Marketing and Product Management.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with Product Management, Marketing, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Customer Service to support product launches and ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Provide feedback on pricing strategies, discount policies, and market penetration tactics.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly sales reports, highlighting performance against targets and key customer developments.

Team Leadership

  • Directly supervise regional field sales teams and provide dotted-line oversight to customer service.
  • Recruit, train, and develop talent; conduct performance revies and manage team development.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in a sales leadership role with a proven track records of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills across diverse teams and cultures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Sales Tools such as Power Bi and Salesforce.
  • Fluent in English, additional language skills a plus.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $145,000
Salary Maximum:  $200,000
Incentive:  Yes
