Job Description: 

We are seeking a Division Vice President, Sales & Marketing to lead our Global Sales, Application Engineering, After Sales & Marcom teams. We're looking for a change agent that is high energy, results oriented, hard driving with ability to establish rapport with others on a global level.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates, builds, develops, reviews, manages and improves our sales team and sales representatives (Channel partners) globally.
  • Drives team to aggressively retain and grow existing customers as well as find and develop new prospects in their regions. Focus on expanding our presence in regions outside of Europe. Owns the monthly Sales Forecast and Opportunity pipeline.
  • Establish a culture in the sales organization that is results focused. Be a key driver in changing the sales organization's orientation from pure topline growth to profitable topline growth (i.e. limited discounting, price attainment, etc.)
  • Meet with key customers, assisting sales team with maintaining relationships, negotiating and closing deals.
  • Develop annual sales plan to support organizational strategy and obtain financial objectives.
  • Manage product management and after sales divisions including NA & International Technical Service and Customer Service. Regional Sales Directors are direct reports.
  • Collaborates and partners with MARCOM, global product managers and other global functional areas by providing market analysis and feedback concerning market direction, customer needs, product requirements, business opportunities, competitive threats.
  • Manages the development and administration of sales compensation plans and targets working in conjunction with Finance and Human Resources.

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Either 7 plus years of Commercial Sales experience with track record of growing top and bottom line.  Experience selling through multiple sales channels (direct, OEMs, Distributors, Representatives)
  • Preferred two plus years of Sales experience in technology, capital equipment, and/or instrument sales.  International Sales experience preferred. Able to see “big picture” both across and within territories to provide effective leadership to Sales team.
  • Highly organized with attention to process and process improvement.
  • Effective time management and follow-up skills. Ability to engage team with relevant and useful KPIs
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills that include ability to translate technical concepts to a non-technical audience.

Salary Minimum:  $200,000
Salary Maximum:  $200,000 +
