FARO is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to drive the growth of SaaS digital reality solution within in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) industry. This role focuses on acquiring new logos and expanding relationships within strategic accounts to achieve aggressive growth goals.


Our Account Manager works out of a home office and will ideally be based in the Northeast US. This position has the potential to earn a total compensation package (salary + variable) between $120,000-$160,000. 


How you will make a difference @ FARO:   

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through research, networking, and outreach.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial contact to closing deals, including product demonstrations, needs assessment, and contract negotiation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their success, satisfaction and retention.
  • Track and manage the sales pipeline in Salesforce, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely follow-ups.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to the overall revenue growth of the company.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer success teams to ensure customer needs are met and solutions are tailored to their specific needs.
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and customer feedback.
  • Continuously provide feedback from prospects and customers to the marketing and product teams.
  • Negotiate contract terms and pricing with clients .
  • Stay current on product knowledge and sales best practices.
  • Manage existing accounts, identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, and work with the Customer Success Team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Present and demonstrate the value of the SaaS platform while positioning a complete solution that solves for customers’ specific pain points.
  • Familiarity with Digital Reality software, LiDAR and/or SLAM Scanners, and the AEC industry is a plus.

You Have: 

  • A background in Architecture, Engineering, Construction and/or sales. 
  • Experience selling scanning lasers and capital equipment in a construcation market is a strong plus. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and /or Engineering discipline strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems, formulate, and demonstrate solutions. 
  • Experiendce with Autodesk Software like Revit or Navisworks.
  • Ability to work independently. 
  • Ability to travel extensively within territory. 
  • Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
