We are a medium-sized team in need of a strong Human Resources Leader.  We are a financially stable division of a large global manufacturer traded on the S&P 500.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Leads the HR team in the Midwest region and contributes to wider MRO Divisional initiatives and projects.
  2. Acts as a key business partner for the Midwest providing coaching and guidance to its leaders and teams.
  3. Responsible for staffing and recruitment of best-in-class talent while providing guidance to managers on best organizational practices to effectively meet the demands of the business.
  4. Able to utilize a range of tools and processes to help achieve high levels of employee engagement and a culture that is aligned to business needs.
  5. Leads the talent & succession planning actions for the region helping to ensure talent is identified and developed to meet future resourcing needs.
  6. Responsible for fostering a positive working environment and serve as ambassador in promoting the company’s recognition program to increase employee motivation and engagement.
  7. Proactively works to eliminate Employee Relations and workers compensation concerns wherever possible. Manages these effectively when it is necessary, ensuring feedback to the business to avoid such cases arising again.
  8. Oversees accurate processing of payroll for the Midwest employees and serves as back up to other MRO N.A. business units as needed.
  9. Administers other programs such as Salary Planning, Performance Management, Annual Benefits Open Enrollment and other programs in alignment with AMETEK’s corporate strategies.
  10. Responsible for processing background screenings, drug tests, and the ongoing administration of the FAA Drug and Alcohol program.
  11. Administers and manages other programs such as annual hearing and respiratory exams, biometrics screenings, and other compliance matters that arise.
  12. Manages Family Medical Leave requests in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
  13. Other duties as required.  

We Need Your Experience to Include

  1. Bachelor’s degree in human resources management or related field.
  2. A minimum of 5 years of human resources experience.
  3. A minimum of 2 years overseeing payroll processing.
  4. Experience with federal, state and regulatory agencies affecting U.S. population. 
  5. Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-marking, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
  6. PHR or SPHR is a plus.
  7. Manufacturing experience is a plus.

 

Our Team

Our Company is located in Tulsa, OK, with limited same day travel required to Wichita, KS.  You will directly lead the Midwest HR Generalist and collaborate with or guide the activities of all company staff.  You will report to and gain direction from the Division Vice President, Business Manager and operate with considerable independence.
