About the Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented EDM Technician to join our aviation maintenance team. In this hands-on role, you’ll support production operations by performing disassembly, cleaning, safety wiring, and painting of aviation components. You’ll also provide technical support to production cells and help resolve complex issues related to component maintenance and repair. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and is passionate about aviation and precision work

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform maintenance and alteration tasks on civil aviation components using approved technical data and industry-standard practices.
  • Disassemble, clean, safety wire, and paint aviation parts with precision and care.
  • Accurately complete all maintenance documentation for work performed.
  • Maintain and ensure the functionality of special tools and equipment.
  • Follow all safety and security procedures and report any unsafe conditions.
  • Ensure proper handling, tagging, and identification of parts throughout the maintenance process.
  • Collaborate with cell leads to resolve technical issues and escalate complex problems when necessary.
  • Support continuous improvement and uphold high standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in aviation maintenance or a related technical field.
  • Familiarity with inspection methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in aviation component repair.

Preferred:

  • Strong troubleshooting skills down to the component level using gauges and test equipment.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and business systems such as Quantum.
  • Ability to multitask, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-focused and results-oriented mindset.

Employee Type:  Hourly
Salary Minimum:  $40,000
Salary Maximum:  $45,000
