Job Summary:

The Standard Products & Services (SPS) Sales Manager is a key member of the NSI-MI Sales team, driving sales of a broad range of standard products and services to a large and diverse customer base. These product and service sales are a valuable complement to the Company’s core business of providing automated systems for the measurement of antennas, radomes, and radar cross section performance. The SPS sales focuses on the company aftermarket segment.  Standard products are routinely included in the configuration of delivered systems or upgrades, but they also are sold separately. Services are most often sold to customers that are members of the installed base of delivered measurement systems, but they can also be sold to other customers. Part of the Standard Products and Services group, this position has as its primary responsibility increasing sales of both standard products and services. The successful candidate will be required to plan, coordinate, and perform a variety of sales and sales support tasks to drive the sales volume of standard products, upgrades, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make timely response to all assigned leads and incoming requests for stand-alone standard product and service quotations
  • Work with customers to qualify their requests and determine the proper products and services to offer
  • Assure ongoing coordination with other NSI-MI Sales Managers for activities involving their assigned accounts or areas of specialty
  • Schedule and perform quotation of all service contract renewals 
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns to promote specific products and services to targeted customers and applications
  • Coordinate notification of all customers affected by end of service support life of designated products
  • Plan and execute sales campaigns to promote system upgrades to customers with products nearing end of service support life
  • Track metrics such as capture renewal and rates for support contracts
  • Participate in Standard Products Sales Strategy meetings, and perform application, customer, and competition research tasks as assigned therein
  • Follow up on all quotes to conclusion, report on quote volume and conversion rate, and provide sales forecasting of standard products and services
  • Coordinate streamlined processes for standard product and service quotations and for incoming review and acceptance of corresponding orders
  • Follow up with customers after order delivery to determine satisfaction and opportunity for follow-on business

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of applicable industry experience
  • Experience in business-to-business selling of technical products and services
  • Ability to rapidly learn NSI-MI products and services and their applications to enable engagement with customers to propose ideal solutions
  • Proven organizational skills and ability to multi-task effectively
  • Proficient in use of business systems, including Microsoft Office suite, CRM system, and MRP system.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies’ programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.
  • This position may require approximately 20% domestic and international travel

Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with microwave antenna design and measurement
  • Background in RF systems such as radar, satellite, or wireless telecom
  • Knowledge of automated test processes
  • Understanding of complex mechanical systems and machines
  • Experience selling internationally is a definite plus
  • Fluency in one or more non-English languages is a plus

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $135,000
Salary Maximum:  $165,000
Incentive:  Yes
