Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively within a team of software developers and system design engineers.
  • Contribute to the production, maintenance, and support of company software products.
  • Develop and enhance a software suite designed to control laboratory test instruments and industrial equipment.
  • Support a range of devices including, but not limited to, vector network analyzers, motion controllers, robots, and other equipment used in electromagnetic test applications.
  • Participate in projects for the leading global supplier of microwave instrumentation products, systems, and technologies for antenna, component, radome, and automated factory test industries.
  • Deliver engineering solutions and advanced products for technical applications requiring precise measurement, motion control, and data acquisition.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (Required)
  • Minimum 7-10 years
  • Experience with writing code in different programming languages: VB6, VBA, C++, C# with WPF
  • Experience with SQL database and Microsoft Access Database
  • Hands-on experience with hardware test and automation, data acquisition systems. Preferred in microwave RF test or similar industry.
  • Experience with instrumentation automation protocols including USB, TCP/UDP, SCPI, GPIB
  • Experience with software collaboration frameworks including Git
  • Familiar with different software configuration control and documentation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills to understand complex technical systems and problem solving
  • Due to the nature of NSI-MI Technologies’ programs and products, applicants must have the legal right to work in the U.S. and additionally must be legally authorized to access export-controlled information and source code.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
  • Experience in porting applications from VB6 to C#
  • Experience or background in physical sciences
  • Familiar with operation of RF test instruments, including spectrum analyzers, vector signal generators, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.

Compensation

Salary Maximum:  $150,000
