Job Description: 

The Technology Integrations Specialist must have the ability to explain to Rauland Florida’s customers our technology/software solutions. Technology solutions must be implemented using RBF and customer resources, integrate the solution through the client's infrastructure and supported using a variety of remote and site collaborations. The Technical Integrations Specialist will attend in person and via conference calls IT Integration planning meetings and work with the project team on the actual integration and testing.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as a liaison between RBF and customer’s IT organization to formulate a plan for implementation of IT based solutions that require customer’s equipment or services to be successful (R5 on customer’s network, customer’s servers, integrating with customer’s VoIP/PBX/wireless phone system, integrating with owner provided middleware solution, IP distributed paging system installations on customer’s network, etc.)
  • Prepare Specification for servers/PC/etc. for customer provided system, review for compliance and support RBF and/or customer team during installation.
  • Work with new and existing customers to set up VPN access to RBF provided systems and software.  Work with CSRs to implement preventative maintenance screening for service work generation
  • Complete active directory integrations between R5 and customer’s IT environment for real-time transfer of user names/passwords between systems
  • Complete integrations with customer VoIP phone systems
  • Complete integrations with middleware and other data sharing applications
  • Diagnose connection problems between RBF provided software and other systems (customers’, other vendors’, RBFs’) – articulate problem and define set of solutions for management/sales/operations.
  • Attend coordination meetings with operations and customer via conference call or on site.
  • Lead RBF software implementation on customer servers to complete a successful implementation – address issues such as customer switch settings, IP settings on servers and RBF systems, access level requirements, data backup procedures, customer’s anti-virus, customer’s virtual environment, customer’s SQL clustering, etc.
  • Communicate with vendors on proposed solution and verify their systems will support such an installation/set-up.
  • Support RBF team in the development, preparation, and presentation of technical proposals and quotes.
  • Support RBF technicians on IT/software installations and issues
  • Responsible for the timely project completions by working with the customer’s IT Department and other customer divisions to close the loop on all final system integrations and required documents.
  • Responsible for scheduling and managing the server or IT portions of assigned installations.  This will require coordination with the customer representative as identified by the RBF project manager.  Software implementation, programming, testing will be coordinated by the TIS. The TIS will work with the local RBF PM to schedule tech staff as required.  The TIS will handle the software/IT portion until it is 100% complete.
  • Source external expertise/subcontractors when required to complete tasks/implementations that are uncommon or beyond the typical scope.
  • Work with IT departments and in house staff to maintain an electronic backup of all new installations.
  • Provide timely responses to internal and external customer queries
  • Maintain accurate records
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education and/or Experience

  • College degree in MIS or Computer Science or other associated technical major or significant applicable work experience.
  • Microsoft Certifications are a plus (must provide proof and year obtained)
  • Experience in the healthcare market is a plus

 

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong project management/organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Software, (Server 2008 – 2012, SQL Server 2008-2012), VMware or other virtual environments
  • Ability to prepare written documents describing technical features and capabilities of equipment, software, applications etc.
  • Ability to analyze information and make recommendations
  • Knowledge of various servers, data switches and routers
  • Knowledge of VPNs, firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention equipment
  • Integration of software solutions into a windows-based infrastructure, XML Integration and SQL
  • Integration with VOIP systems using SIP protocol

Compensation
