Job Title:  Quality Assurance Technician

The QA Inspection Operator is responsible for activity relating to the inspection of Microwave Modules, PCB assemblies, and Top-level Microwave amplifiers.

Within the Inspection area the Inspection Operator will:

1. Inspect PCB assemblies and Microwave Modules to drawings plus using IPC610D adhering to a high standard of Quality as laid down by the Inspection target driven system

2. Inspect Amplifiers and systems.

3. Maintaining build records and history of Products.

4. Complete the Amplifier build prior to shipment.

5. Maintain the ERP system and Route cards.

Qualifications and Experience

· Have worked in a Quality control environment, utilising inspection and soldering skills to a high standard, including the capability to work with surface mount components. In addition, the ability to read electrical and mechanical assembly drawings and have a proven ability to participate in solving problems in the Production environment.

· IPC A-610 or similar qualifications or similar would be an advantage.

· Knowledge of Continuous Improvement processes would be an advantage.

· Knowledge of General assembly and wiring would be an advantage
