Job Description: 

Position Summary:

The production engineer will join the production engineering team at our location in Subotica and will work on the design of EMC test generators.

With proven experience in analog and digital circuit design, this person will interface regularly with other groups (including hardware engineering, production and purchasing).

Strong organizational skills are required as well as detailed documentation. The candidate must require minimal supervision.

 

Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

  • Write / Draw system schematics, BOM’s, test procedures, product manuals and other relevant documentation related to production jobs.
  • Maintain configuration management of production models.
  • Process ECN’s (Engineering Change Notice).
  • Act as liaison between engineering and operations.
  • Participate in Critical Design Review process.
  • Participation in transfer to production
  • Work closely with design engineers, operations and test departments to solve any production issues.
  • Design analog and digital circuits, PCB layouts
  • Participation in manufacturing of test circuits and designs (prototypes)
  • Test new designs to spec

 

Job Requirements:

  • Must have a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 3+ years experience in analog/digital Design, background in high-voltage desired.
  • Experience in PCB layout
  • Basic knowledge in EMC immunity is an advantage
  • Understands the value of, and is able to produce, high quality documentation.
  • Able to quickly learn and self teach new skills and technology.
  • Maintains a constructive positive attitude in challenging situations.
  • Operates effectively under pressure and delivers to agreed timescales.
  • Good team player, interested in and able to communicate with other engineering disciplines.
  • Excellent language skills (communication and writing) in English

This is mainly an office based role using display screen equipment, however the candidate may also have to work in the development lab, test lab (noise, RF and electrical hazards) and in the production area.
