Job Description:

Responsibilities
  • When necessary, based on an issued work order, adjusts the machine for a specific type of product
  • Assembles semi-finished products, subassemblies, and finished products
  • Typically manufactures moderately complex products on moderately complex production lines according to written work instructions, usually without supervision unless otherwise specified in the work instructions
  • Reports any observed deficiencies during work to the employee responsible for managing the line
  • Reports on their work to the employee responsible for managing the line
  • Cooperates with maintenance staff – provides information about equipment, assists during troubleshooting, etc.
  • Inspects product quality after production
  • Withdraws, marks, and separates non-conforming material/parts from the correct ones
  • Responsible for scrap generated during the production process and properly reports and sorts it
  • Maintains statistics of errors on the line
  • Required to check the material and semi-finished product codes used against the work order if the workstation requires it
  • Responsible for regular and accurate completion of production documentation (work order, scrap list, control plan) and timely submission if the workstation requires it
  • Responsible for following procedures and instructions regarding work and handling of machines and associated tools used
  • Performs daily and weekly checks of machine functionality and cleanliness according to defined checklists if the workstation requires it
  • Responsible for keeping the workspace and workstation clean and tidy every day
  • Accountable for the quality of their work, precision, accuracy, clarity, and timeliness
  • At the employer’s request, may occasionally operate a passenger vehicle, e.g., when sent on a business trip, but only if qualified to drive and meets all legal requirements
  • Performs other tasks assigned by the supervisor that correspond to their occupation and qualifications, in cases of temporary absence of another worker, temporary increase in workload, or other justified circumstances

Requirements

  •  Level I vocational qualification or Level II technical retraining
  • 2 years of work experience in similar positions
  • Good eyesight and color recognition
  • Manual dexterity
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings, diagrams, and manuals.
