Job Title:  Procurement Systems Manager

Position Summary

As we continue to strengthen our procurement analytics and digital capabilities, we are looking for a Procurement Systems Manager, based in Serbia, to play a key role in shaping how procurement data, reporting and technology are used across AMETEK.

Sitting within Corporate Procurement, this role will take functional ownership of key procurement systems and reporting solutions, including ProcureView/Qlik, and will lead their ongoing development and enhancement. Working across Procurement, IT, business units and external partners, you will translate business requirements into effective solutions, strengthen data quality and integration, and identify opportunities to simplify and automate reporting.

From developing analytics and reporting tools to enabling AI functionality and influencing the future systems roadmap, you will play an important role in helping AMETEK make better use of procurement data and technology to support business decision.

Responsibilities

Lead the functional ownership for ProcureView/Qlik:

• Ensure system is meeting the needs of the business
• Develop the roadmap for enhancements and extensions into plans and actions
• Work closely with Qlik technical expert(s) on all aspects of system design
• Work with all AMETEK Divisions, BU’s and sites to ensure data integration is happening as expected, and exceptions are acted upon
• Project management of all stakeholders (IT, Qlik, Divisions, Business Units)
• Business Unit master data validation (Supplier mapping, Commodity Code mapping, Payment Term mapping)
• Enable AI functionality within the system across all users, including training
• Supporting functional and User Acceptance testing
• Running internal update meetings

Develop tools for use in GSO, COE & Corporate Reporting

• Develop other reporting tools within the appropriate systems
• Examples – GSO RFQ tracking dashboard; COE inquiry tracking; Blomberg price index dashboard
• Work with Corporate colleagues to define new opportunities, design solutions and implement

Spend and Savings Reporting

• Working with Procurement Operations Director, prepare quarterly reporting of spend and savings for all OPEX functions
• Taking data from all AMETEK Divisions, combining and analysing
• Develop ways to automate and streamline reporting

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
• Minimum 7-8 years experience working with:
  • Data management and reporting systems management
  • Or Supply Chain/Procurement/Financial systems
• Experience with data management and process mapping
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills; go looking for issues with an aim to solve them
• Genuine interest in data management and reporting systems
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Collaboration experience within a global or multi-site environment and proven ability to influence stakeholders in a matrixed environment
• English language (written and verbal) – essential
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs.  The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs
