Job purpose:
Manually assemble materials, or operate machinery, on Alphasense’s sensor production lines.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Check the production scheduling board each morning and occupy the relevant work station that you have been assigned to.

Adjusts the machine for a specific product type as required, based on an issued work order

Performs assembly of semi-finished products, subassemblies, and finished products

As a rule, manufactures the least complex products on the least complex production lines, based on instructions and explanations provided by supervisors, and under regular supervision of higher-level operator/assemblers, line leaders, forepersons/shift leaders, or supervisors

Reports all observed deficiencies during the work process to the employee responsible for line supervision

Reports on work performed to higher-level operator/assemblers and the employee responsible for line supervision

Cooperates with maintenance employees by providing equipment-related information, participating in fault troubleshooting, and performing other related activities

Performs quality control of products after completion

Is responsible for scrap generated during the production process and reports it properly

Is required to verify material and semi-finished product codes against the work order when the workplace requires such verification

Is responsible for regular and accurate completion of production documentation (work order, scrap list, control plan) and timely submission thereof, when required by the workplace

Is responsible for applying procedures and work instructions related to machine operation and handling of associated tools used

Performs daily and weekly checks of machine functionality and cleanliness in accordance with defined checklists, where required by the workplace

Is responsible for maintaining the workspace and own workstation clean and orderly on a daily basis

Is accountable for the quality of own work, accuracy, precision, clarity, and timeliness

At the Employer’s request, may occasionally operate a passenger vehicle (e.g., in the case of a business trip), provided that the employee is authorized and meets all legal requirements for driving

Performs other tasks assigned by the supervisor that correspond to the employee’s qualifications and professional background, in cases of temporary absence of another employee, temporary increase in workload, or other justified circumstances
