Job Title: Manufacturing and Test Engineer

The Serbia Manufacturing Test Engineer will be the STC Subotica local site lead responsible for coordinating Production and Engineering related activities for Lloyd products sales into the EMEA region out of the Serbia location.
Utilizes a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of manufacturing of mechatronic systems or precision electromechanical equipment. Involves knowledge of mechanical systems, electronic components, test and validation, instrumentation, embedded microcontrollers, analog/digital circuitry.
Supports Local Manufacturing to assist in meeting Shipment and Quality expectations.
HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Support coordination of assembly priorities, documentation, and related communication to ensure ongoing product assembly including direct support of assembly activities.
- Test and evaluate electronic and electromechanical subassemblies, products, and systems to meet the performance, cost and scheduling requirements as defined by the project team and the company’s goals.
- Support product transfers as required through training, documentation, and local facility set-up. Includes creation, refinement and adaptation of detailed work and assembly instructions for use by the local manufacturing staff.
- Monitor and improve the efficiency and productivity of production lines. Responsible for the accuracy and correctness of the technical documentation needed to support the production process.
- Diagnose real-time microcontroller-based instruments involving firmware and automated test software. Requires configuration of computers and network systems to set up and maintain the test software.
- Supporting production and assembly line in trouble shooting and detecting issues. Analysing data and statistics connected to product and its functionality. Defining and performing tests on finish products and if needed defining countermeasures for resolving the issues.
- Develop qualification test procedures and perform various testing of advanced test equipment, subsystems, circuits, and mechanics for precision test applications. Reviews new designs and defines the manufacturing operational sequence; determines manufacturing routings for each step-in sequence.
- Resolve product nonconformance issues; implement product and process improvement/cost reduction initiatives via Ametek’s CAPA and Engineering Change processes.
- Main contact for quality and production topics. Leading the quality metric system and non-conforming products. Analysing and correcting issues on local level connected to product testing and approval. Implementing and maintaining the QMS
- Other duties may be assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or Electronic Engineering required.
- Minimum of 5 years of related experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel) and manufacturing database software.
- Required to have excellent English language skills, both written and verbal.
Up to 10% Travel as required.
