Job Description: 

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and arranging efficient transport bookings. Also its responsible for stock keeping of materials in and out of warehouse

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and manage all import/export documentation (invoices, packing lists, customs forms, certificates of origin).
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and internal company policies.
  • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, carriers and suppliers.
  • Arrange transport bookings for air and road shipment
  • Monitor shipment schedules, provide status updates, and resolve delays or logistical problems.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and logistics performance.
  • Oversee warehouse operations to ensure timely and accurate inventory records.
  • Verify material receipts and all accompanying documentation.
  • Organize storage, ensure proper labeling, and optimize warehouse space usage.
  • Record all warehouse transactions accurately in the information system.
  • Supply production lines with required materials (KANBAN, order‑based picking).
  • Apply FIFO/FEFO principles for relevant materials.
  • Be responsible for weekly stock count
  • Prepare outgoing shipment documentation and perform accurate loading of goods.
  • Coordinate with customs and logistics partners for dispatch of goods.
  • Resolve material discrepancies in collaboration with production and quality teams.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export operations and transport booking.
  • Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP systems experience is a plus).
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
