For our AMETEK CTS business unit, we are looking for a Logistics Specialist at our location in Subotica, Serbia.

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and coordinating all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, and arranging efficient transport bookings. This role plays a key part in maintaining smooth supply chain operations and timely delivery of goods.



Key Responsibilities:
•    Import & Export Management:
  o    Handle all documentation for international shipments (commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin).
  o    Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade laws, and company policies.
  o    Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers for timely clearance and delivery.
•    Transport Booking:
  o    Arrange and confirm transport bookings for sea, air, and road shipments.
  o    Negotiate rates and secure cost-effective transportation solutions.
  o    Monitor shipment schedules and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.
•    Communication & Coordination:
  o    Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure accurate shipping instructions and documentation.
  o    Provide shipment status updates and resolve any logistical issues promptly.
•    Data & Reporting:
  o    Maintain accurate records of shipments, costs, and delivery timelines.
  o    Prepare regular reports on logistics performance and cost optimization.

Qualifications & Skills:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
•    Minimum 2–3 years of experience in import/export operations and transport booking.
•    Strong knowledge of Incoterms, customs procedures, and international shipping regulations.
•    Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software (ERP systems experience is a plus).
•    Excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills.
•    Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
