Job Description: 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage and resolve day-to-day IT support requests.
  • Oversee the helpdesk system, prioritizing and assigning tickets.
  • Provide technical support for hardware and software issues.
  • Administer and maintain servers, networks, and storage systems.
  • Perform regular updates, backups, and patch management.
  • Monitor system performance and implement optimizations.
  • Create and maintain IT documentation, including user guides and policy documents.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees with IT setup and initial training.
  • Track and manage IT assets, including hardware and software licenses.
  • Coordinate procurement and disposal of IT equipment.
  • Assist in implementing and monitoring IT security measures.
  • Support compliance audits and documentation.
  • Ensure proper access controls are in place and monitored.
  • Coordinate and support IT projects, such as upgrades and new system implementations.
  • Assist in managing relationships with IT vendors and service providers.
  • Track and manage IT contracts, ensuring timely renewals and negotiations.


Requirements:

 

  • Strong technical knowledge of IT systems, networks, and software.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in system administration and IT support best practices.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a drive for efficiency and continuous improvement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support and system administration.
  • Experience with IT asset management and helpdesk operations.
  • Familiarity with IT security measures and compliance requirements.
  • Experience in project coordination and vendor management.
