Job Description: 

The Global Lead Recruiter is a highly skilled, expert‑level talent acquisition professional responsible for driving strategic, full‑cycle recruitment for AMETEK’s Materials Analysis Division (MAD). This role focuses on attracting top global talent for executive‑level leadership roles, high‑technology specialists, and scientific technical experts across five business units located throughout the United States, United Kingdom, and Europe.

This position serves as a trusted recruitment advisor to global HR leaders and hiring managers—shaping recruitment strategies, strengthening international processes, and elevating talent acquisition capabilities across the division. The Global Lead Recruiter will cultivate deep partnerships with business leaders and country‑specific corporate HR teams, proactively build international talent pipelines, and ensure a seamless, high‑quality candidate experience at every stage.

This role reports directly to the Divisional Talent Acquisition Manager.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Talent Acquisition Leadership

  • Lead full‑cycle recruitment for global executive roles and technical/scientific expert positions.
  • Serve as the division’s subject-matter expert in global recruitment practices.
  • Influence and enforce consistent talent acquisition processes across all business units.

Global Stakeholder Partnership

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with hiring managers and HR leaders across regions.
  • Lead recruitment kickoff calls with international teams.
  • Guide interview debriefs and decision‑making processes.

 

Pipeline Development & Market Expertise

  • Develop global talent pipelines for niche and hard‑to‑fill roles.
  • Conduct market research to advise on talent strategies.
  • Drive targeted sourcing strategies and passive talent engagement.

Operational Excellence & Process Governance

  • Standardize recruitment processes across regions.
  • Manage requisitions and workflows in SAP SuccessFactors.
  • Ensure a high‑quality candidate experience end‑to‑end.

Capability Building & Best Practice Enablement

  • Lead LinkedIn Recruiter training sessions.
  • Mentor peers informally and share best practices.
  • Build accurate, compelling job descriptions for global roles.

Execution Support & Candidate Logistics

  • Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics.
  • Develop and extend competitive offer recommendations.
  • Maintain compliance with global employment regulations.

Minimun Requirements for Consideration

  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 7+ years of progressive full‑cycle recruiting experience.
  • Expertise in executive‑level and technical/scientific recruitment.
  • Experience in global or multi‑country recruiting environments.
  • Strong consultative skills with ability to influence senior leaders.
  • Proficiency with SAP SuccessFactors (or similar), LinkedIn Recruiter, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong English communication skills.
  • Experience in tech, engineering, or scientific industries preferred.
  • Agency + in‑house recruiting background strongly preferred.
