Responsibilities:

  • Performing duties of an Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Advisor.
  • Preparing risk assessments in accordance with local legislation and corporate requirements; issuing and updating the Risk Assessment Rulebook (amendments and supplements) in compliance with regulations of the Republic of Serbia and corporate standards.
  • Providing health and safety training for all employees (new hires and newly transferred employees) as well as visitors, and taking all necessary measures in accordance with applicable laws.
  • Organizing internal employee training sessions and coordinating training delivered by external providers.
  • Conducting inspections of all fire protection equipment and testing installations in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Managing visitor safety; preparing and issuing Visitor Safety and Occupational Health and Fire Protection Rules.
  • Preparing and submitting reports to public authorities related to all relevant aspects of waste management, fire protection, and occupational health and safety.
  • Ensuring waste management is carried out in compliance with applicable legislation, including proper documentation, permits, and reporting to governmental institutions.
  • Initiating procurement of personal protective equipment (PPE) and workwear and actively participating in the purchasing process.
  • Organizing timely inspections of equipment safety, work environment, installations, forklifts, and other legally required examinations.
  • Preparing all legally required documentation and reports related to occupational health and safety, environmental protection, and fire protection.
  • Delivering employee training on health and prevention topics and organizing health and safety training for new employees.
  • Receiving maintenance requests related to the administrative building and organizing repairs, refurbishments, and/or replacements in cooperation with the Procurement Department.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree - technical science, or engineering
  • Preferable 2+ years of experience in EHS
  • Passed Professional Exam in the field of safety and health at work – položen stručni ispit za obavljanje poslova za bezbednost i zdravlje na radu
  • Passed Professional Exam in the field of fire protection preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management and organization
  • Result oriented
  • Active user of MS Office
  • Minimum language skill English (advanced)
  • Demonstrated interest and practical ability to use AI tools to improve efficiency and quality of work while applying good judgment and responsible use
  • Comfortable learning and adopting new AI-enabled ways of working and proactively identifying opportunities where AI can drive meaningful impact
