Scope of the Role
We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to drive business improvement, ERP optimisation, and data-led decision making across MRO Europe.
In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple business units and regions to identify business needs, analyse processes, and deliver effective technology-driven solutions. You will play a key role in promoting ERP best practice, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and helping the organisation leverage emerging AI capabilities to enhance operational performance.
Working in a cross-regional environment, you will translate complex business requirements into practical solutions, improve system effectiveness, and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the business.
Main Duties/Responsibilities
Strategic Business Analysis
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
- Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Develop business cases, process maps, and solution proposals
- Support delivery of change initiatives and transformation programmes
ERP Optimisation & Data Management
- Provide functional support and optimisation of ERP systems (e.g., Quantum or equivalent)
- Drive best practices in ERP usage and data governance
- Monitor data quality and ensure consistency and integrity across systems
- Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and system improvements
Reporting & Data Insights
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS
- Analyse data trends to provide actionable insights for business decision-making
- Define and track KPIs aligned to business objectives
- Support leadership with data-driven performance reporting
AI & Digital Transformation
- Identify opportunities for AI and automation within ERP, reporting, and business processes
- Support the organisation in adopting AI-enabled tools and capabilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise AI use cases
- Contribute to AI governance, compliance, and responsible use of data
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess business application
Stakeholder Engagement (Cross-Regional)
- Work closely with IT leadership, business units, and global teams
- Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder reviews
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
- Ensure alignment with global IT and business strategies
Solution Delivery & Governance
- Support implementation of business solutions and system improvements
- Monitor and measure effectiveness of implemented changes
- Ensure all solutions comply with data, security, and regulatory requirements
- Maintain clear documentation of processes, requirements, and deliverables
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
