Job Description: 

Scope of the Role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially minded Business Analyst to drive business improvement, ERP optimisation, and data-led decision making across MRO Europe.

In this role, you will partner with stakeholders across multiple business units and regions to identify business needs, analyse processes, and deliver effective technology-driven solutions. You will play a key role in promoting ERP best practice, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and helping the organisation leverage emerging AI capabilities to enhance operational performance.

Working in a cross-regional environment, you will translate complex business requirements into practical solutions, improve system effectiveness, and provide meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement throughout the business.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

 

Strategic Business Analysis

  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, define, and document requirements
  • Analyse end-to-end business processes to identify efficiencies and improvement opportunities
  • Develop business cases, process maps, and solution proposals
  • Support delivery of change initiatives and transformation programmes

ERP Optimisation & Data Management

  • Provide functional support and optimisation of ERP systems (e.g., Quantum or equivalent)
  • Drive best practices in ERP usage and data governance
  • Monitor data quality and ensure consistency and integrity across systems
  • Collaborate with technical teams on enhancements and system improvements

Reporting & Data Insights

  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI and SSRS
  • Analyse data trends to provide actionable insights for business decision-making
  • Define and track KPIs aligned to business objectives
  • Support leadership with data-driven performance reporting

AI & Digital Transformation

  • Identify opportunities for AI and automation within ERP, reporting, and business processes
  • Support the organisation in adopting AI-enabled tools and capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritise AI use cases
  • Contribute to AI governance, compliance, and responsible use of data
  • Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess business application

Stakeholder Engagement (Cross-Regional)

  • Work closely with IT leadership, business units, and global teams
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement sessions, and stakeholder reviews
  • Act as a bridge between business and technical teams
  • Ensure alignment with global IT and business strategies

Solution Delivery & Governance

  • Support implementation of business solutions and system improvements
  • Monitor and measure effectiveness of implemented changes
  • Ensure all solutions comply with data, security, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain clear documentation of processes, requirements, and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and to reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
