Job Title:  Accounts Payable Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented accountant to manage our Accounts Payable process and expense report processing.  The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and an understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Match purchase orders with vendor invoices and reconcile discrepancies.
• Prepare and process payments (checks, ACH, and wire transfers) in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of all transactions in the accounting system.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve payment inquiries or discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting tasks.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting principles.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including procurement and finance, to streamline accounts payable processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Experience in accounts payable or general accounting preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel. 
• Strong communication skills in English and strong and interpersonal skills. 
• Knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles is a plus
• This role requires the flexibility to work a minimum of three days per week aligned with U.S. Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours, as well as additional EST aligned availability during month‑end close periods to support collaboration with U.S. based teams
• Some international travel may be required.
