Job Description: 

Introduction

Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant is responsible for processing all supplier invoices (from receipt to payment).

Responsibilities:

The Accountant will:

  • Process supplier invoices:
    • Check invoices against orders;
    • Process supplier invoices in ERP;
    • Make supplier payments, ensuring compliance with deadlines;
    • Lettering of payments;
    • File and archive documents;
    • Analyze supplier ageing balance.
  • Supplier dispute management:
    • Manage disputes in conjunction with the purchasing department;
    • Handle reminders;
    • Maintain good relations with suppliers
  • Other tasks:
    • Enter bank documents;
    • Perform bank reconciliations;
    • Establish bank cash flows;
    • Analyze receipts not invoiced;
    • Claim non-received invoices;
    • Contribute to monthly closing operations;
    • Contribute to quarterly SOX reporting;
    • Monitor overheads invoices;
    • Prepare declaration of professional fees (DAS2).

Requirements:

  • Education & experience:
    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related finance field.
    • 3-5 years experience in finance
    • Experience in a manufacturing setting, a plus
  • Professionnal knowledge & abilities:
    • English level: B1;
    • Knowledge of an ERP-type integrated accounting system;
    • Computer skills (Excel: TCD, research.);
    • Organizational skills;
    • Communication skills;
    • Thoroughness.
    • Numerical skils.
    • Demonstrated ability and willingness to use AI tools to improve productivity, decision-making, work quality, and reduce costs. The successful candidate must be able to identify appropriate AI use cases and critically evaluate AI-generated outputs.
