Job Description: 

Position Summary

To ensure the accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices and payments, maintaining strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders, and supporting the overall efficiency of the accounts payable function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process supplier invoices, credit notes, and expense claims in accordance with company policies.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, resolving discrepancies.
  • Ensure timely payment runs and manage payment schedules.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Respond to supplier and internal queries in a professional and timely manner.
  • Assist with month-end closing activities, including accruals and reporting.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the AP function.
  • Collaborate with procurement and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Harmonise processes across the Business Unit.
  • Continue to drive indirect spend to Ariba.
  • Engage with automation tools to drive efficiency and value add focus.

Requirements for Consideration

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial systems.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (Navision and Business Central preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience with automation tools a benefit.
