Micro-Poise Measurement Systems, an AMETEK company, is a leading OEM supplier of capital test equipment to the worldwide automotive and tire industries. Micro-Poise is currently seeking an EHS/Facilities Coordinator to join our strong team in Streetsboro, Ohio.

 

JOB SUMMARY: The EHS/Facilities Coordinator is responsible for the management of facilities work, including security, maintenance, and other services. Ensuring that the needs of the organization, employees, and/or visitors are met. Additionally, you will be responsible for the Health, Safety and Environmental management of the site, processes and services.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Responsible for creating and maintaining a safe working environment.   Conduct training program to educate the workforce.
  • Take the lead in all environmental, health & safety matters
  • Manage the AMETEK Compliance Calendar Activities
  • Manage the overall site security and services (utilities) provided within the facility
  • Create/maintain a suitable working environment for the purpose and needs of the facility.  Utilize 5S Principles to create a clean and organized environment.
  • Manage the maintenance of the building by performing repairs or contracting maintenance services as needed
  • Work with Purchasing and Finance to ensure proper documentation is obtained for purchase and payment.    Ensure that approvals based on AMETEK DLA are obtain prior to making commitments with contractors.
  • Accident/Near Miss/Safety Observation statistics and investigation
  • Undertaking risk assessments and site inspections
  • Liaising with relevant authorities
  • Manage and develop emergency response process and procedures
  • You may have to perform other tasks & duties (within your skill set) on a at the request of the Operations Director

 

 

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 2-3 years of experience in a Facility / EHS Coordinator role
  • Highschool Diploma or GED required

Compensation

Employee Type:  Salaried
Salary Minimum:  $55,000
Salary Maximum:  $65,000
Incentive:  No
