Job Title: Wire Form Operator
Summary
Under minimal supervision, operates Wire Form machine to process parts to blueprint specifications, following instructions and applying knowledge of manufacturing procedures.
Essential Job Function:
- Operate and tend to Wire Form machines.
- Identifying problems and informing setup operator.
- Review and completion of required daily documentation.
- Assure good housekeeping and machine maintenance practices
- Maintaining all safety and employee policies and report any infractions or concerns to management.
- Perform in process quality checks utilizing comparators, micrometer, and additional inspection equipment as required.
- Complete required documents and SPC.
Skills and Abilities:
- Blueprint reading GD&T.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented, manufacturing environment.
- Effective communication and understanding of job instructions both verbally and written.
- Attention to detail with precision equipment and product.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical computations.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion.
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Paragon Medical is a manufacturing environment. The employee will be required to talk or hear with others in a noisy environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to use hands, finger and arms to handle, or feel objects and reach overhead, pull and push. The employee will be required to frequently lift and/or move object that weight up to 50lbs.The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb, balance, kneel, or crouch. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
